With lifts to almost 3000m Disentis offers snow-sure skiing, but what it really delivers on is incredible freeriding opportunities, offering 1600m of lift-served vertical descents. Val Gronda in particular gives freeriders easily accessed powder all the way to the valley cable car station. And fresh tracks are always possible, even days after a snowfall!

That’s not to say Disentis is only for hardcore freeriders. The 60km of pistes offer easy skiing via blue and red runs to the valley, and there is also an excellent beginners' area at Caishavedra suitable for children and adults, from where the ski school operates. Disentis is also home to the premium ski manufacturer Zai; you can rent or buy their skis from the cable car station at Caishavedra. When you get hungry, there are two mountain restaurants offering a wide variety of snacks and meals. Disentis has everything on hand to offer you an unforgettable holiday.
