Booking Conditions & Season Dates

1. General

Sedrun Disentis Tourismus provides hotels and holiday houses or flats on behalf their owners or their representatives. All the information has been collected by us on the ground with utmost care and reflect the state of Autumn 2009. For changes that are made without our knowledge after the printing, we can assume no liability.

2. Payment Terms

Sedrun Disentis Tourismus creates an invoice, which is considered your rental confirmation. If booking more than 30 days before arrival, a deposit of 40% of the package price or rental housing including cancellation insurance is due to our account at UBS in Disentis. The balance must be paid 30 days prior to arrival to the same account. If a reservation is made within less than 30 days prior to arrival, then the entire amount is due immediately. When paying the bill with a credit card accepted by Sedrun Disentis Tourismus, the whole package price is due immediately.

3. Rates and charges

The items listed in the reservation confirmation are binding. A price adjustment may be made for reasons that we cannot influence (e.g., currency fluctuations, newly introduced or increased taxes). In some cases, the charges listed are merely guidelines and are therefore subject to minor modifications. The maximum rate rental properties may be subject to are listed on the contract.

4. Cancellation of the lease

The reservation is final and therefore binding with the receipt of the booking confirmation from Sedrun Disentis Tourismus. For tenants wishing to rescind the lease, the following conditions apply:

Until 90 days before arrival 75% of the deposit will be refunded.

Until 30 days before arrival corresponds to the payable amount of the deposit.

Less than 30 days before arrival the whole amount is due. At an early departure the total amount is owed, there is no entitlement to a refund of the total or a partial amount.

Sedrun Disentis Tourismus charges per cancellation an administration fee of CHF 50.00 per booking.

The cancellation insurance is mandatory if you do not have your own insurance. Should the tenant cancel his reservation because of illness, accident or death, the whole amount minus the insurance premium and an administration fee of CHF 50.00 will be refunded upon presentation of a medical certificate.

5. Complaints

The data collected in the system has been gathered conscientiously and carefully. Everything necessary can be done to remedy inadequacies or to find an equivalent accommodation. If the holidaymaker books their own accommodation, or takes our proposed equivalent alternative, not to claim, no refund is due on our part. Similarly, in such cases all liability is excluded. We point out that all claims must be received within 72 hours after the use of the service. These claims are also within 10 days after end of stay and filed in writing, otherwise void of any claim for damages. The claim for damages in any case cannot exceed the amount of the rental amount. If no agreement is reached, the place of jurisdiction is Disentis, canton of Grisons, Switzerland.

6. Force Majeure

Holiday traffic can result in extreme cases that we have no control over. We are not held liable for acts of God, natural disasters, or natural forces in our brokerage, and we are entitled to terminate the reservation without compensation. For other reasons that are not represented by us, we can either relocate you to another rental property, or if necessary cancel the reservation. In this case, you get back the amount paid; however, refrain from further claims.

7. Liability

Sedrun Disentis Tourismus is liable for the proper reservations on site, but not for unpredictable situations that can not be influenced by us, such as failures or disruptions in the water and / or power and facilities such as heating, elevator, pool, etc., or a decrease the rental value due to environmental damage, temporarily increased noise pollution, traffic diversions, construction, etc.

For damages that are shown to be caused by the tenant during the stay, the tenant must pay in full. Any damage must be paid the owner or his representative prior to departure.

8. Taxes

Under tax law, every guest who stays in the community is required to pay a tax, which is used to create and to maintain the tourism infrastructure. The tenant is obliged to register themselves within 24 hours on the official form and remit.

The tourism tax of CHF 2.70 for adults and children over 12 years, and CHF 0.65 for children aged 6-12 is already included in the booking price.
